How this site handles data
Provisional
This notice is a factual draft prepared alongside the website. It names no data controller and sets no retention periods, because those depend on information the organisers have not yet supplied. It requires legal review and completion before the site is published.
What is collected today
Registration is not open, and the site has no account and no newsletter. The only personal data it receives is what you choose to send through the contact form.
Contact form
The form asks for your name, your email address and your message. They are sent by email to contact@akgo.ch so that the organisers can reply, and are used for nothing else. The website itself keeps no copy: messages are not stored in a database or written to a log.
To limit abuse, the server keeps a one-way hash of your IP address for one hour after you send a message. It is then deleted.
Analytics and tracking
This site uses no analytics service, no advertising network and no tracking or profiling cookies. Because nothing is tracked, no consent banner is shown — a banner that asked for consent to nothing would be misleading.
Third-party requests
Opening a page of this site contacts no third party. The typefaces are served from this site’s own domain rather than from a font service, and no external scripts, embeds or images are loaded.
The venue page offers one link to OpenStreetMap. That link is only followed if you choose to click it, at which point OpenStreetMap’s own privacy terms apply.
Server logs
The hosting provider’s web server records ordinary access logs, which typically include IP address, timestamp, requested URL and browser user agent. These are kept for operational and security purposes only. The retention period is set by the hosting provider and must be stated here once confirmed.
When registration opens
Registering will require a limited set of personal data, which will be listed in full on this page before registration opens. The intention is to collect only what is needed to issue a place on the course and a receipt.
- Payments will be processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own hosted page and are never transmitted to, or stored on, this website’s servers.
- Registration records will be stored on the hosting provider’s database server and used to administer the course.
- Stripe acts as an independent payment processor and applies its own privacy terms to the payment itself.
Your rights
Under Swiss data protection law, and under the GDPR where it applies, you may request access to the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and object to certain processing.
